Itinerary

DAY 1: Jungle Trekking, Lagoons & Amazon Flora

  • 08:00 Transportation from Trinidad city

  • 09:00 Breakfast in Chuchini

  • 09:45 (or AFTER AIRPORT) Tour to learn about the flora of the Bolivian Amazonia

  • 12:30 Typical lunch with tropical fruit juice

  • 14:30 Walk in the jungle until arriving at the “Media Luna” lagoon

  • 19:00 Dinner

DAY 2: Pink Dolphins, Piranha Fishing & Alligator Night Spotting

  • 08:30 Typical breakfast

  • 09:30 Navigation in the Ibaré River to reach the junction with the Mamoré River

    • Observation of birds, turtles and the pink Bolivian freshwater dolphins (Bufeos)

  • 12:30 Lunch on the boat or on the sandy beaches, swimming in the river (depends on the water level)

    • Piranha fishing (Duration of the tour: 8 hours)

  • 18:00 Arrival to Chuchini

  • 19:00 Dinner

  • 19:30 Night navigation to observe alligators (1 hour)

DAY 3: Horseback Riding, Cultural History & Wildlife Navigation

  • 09:30 Horseback riding

  • 10:30 Visit to the Archaeological Museum of the hydraulic culture (Casarabe culture) in Chuchini

  • 12:00 Zip Line over the Chuchini lagoon

  • 12:30 Lunch

  • 14:15 Navigation in the Chuchini lagoon to observe the wildlife

  • 15:00 Return to Trinidad

  • 15:45 Arrival to Trinidad – drop-off at Trinidad airport or your hotel in the city
